Parking in NOLA?

Yes Greg but not everyone wants to pay these rates at Galveston thus why we write about alternative parking options.
  • Parking rates: Parking costs $90 for four days, $110 for five days and $140 for seven days. Please have your boarding information available. You must show it to enter the garage. Advance reservations are not available for regular-sized vehicles, but a parking space is guaranteed.

Your original post was off topic and revived a post that was 2 1/2 years old. I was just adding relevant information to the original thread topic for those who may now come here looking for it now that it has been replied to again. I am not advocating for cruisers to park anywhere specific and I agree parking right at the port, although convenient, can sometimes be quite expensive.

The information you have on your site for Galveston parking is good and could help many cruisers. It along with the other cruise port parking information you have collected would just be better suited under its' own "Cruise Port Parking - How To Save" thread and not lost under a thread asking specifically about New Orleans parking.
