Asia cruising February-March any updates appreciated on status, Thanks

Different cruise lines are taking different precautions due to the coronavirus.

These include but are not limited to:
  • No port stops on mainland China
  • Not allowing any individual who has recently (within 14 days) traveled from or through mainland China, Macau, or Hong Kong to get onboard.
  • Any individual who has been in contact with a suspected or confirmed case of coronavirus or a person under monitoring for coronavirus within 14 days of the start of the cruise, will not be permitted to board the ship.
  • Pre-Boarding medical evaluations, including temperature checks, for persons with fever or respiratory symptoms with travel from or through an affected area.
Which cruise line(s) are you scheduled on?

I'd speak with either your travel agent or directly with the cruise line when you get close to your sailing date. They will be able to update you. In any case, whoever you booked through should be sending you updates on any significant developments as they happen. It's changing all the time as things unfold. I expect all cruise lines will be using an abundance of caution moving forward. Not only to protect their clients but also their own bottom line.
